My Early Christmas

elifeli surprised me the other day when she brought to my home a mini-christmas tree, decorated with edible candy canes and silver (and blue) bells! i won't be going back to ipoh for christmas this year simply because my freaking final exam is a week after, so she decided to lighten my spirit and brought christmas to me! a month earlier! schoo schweet.

at least my room in vista seems less depressing now. :)

all i want for christmas is hiro nakamura's space-time manipulation superpower. can you IMAGINE all the things i can do with that ability! oh, i believe i've not mentioned that Heroes is the best series i've ever watched next to Friends. and maybe Little Britain. OK NO, heroes is better than Little Britain.

i just checked my sitemeter and found out that i've had visitors from parts of the world i never knew i had friends at! who's from hamilton nz?! & mannheim, baden-wurttemberg germany?! and oxford & stockport in england?! and and ... from bucharest, romania - ZAMMA IS THAT YOU? also: butterworth, sg petani and taiping! who! i'd like to know. :)

5 weeks to EoS5. if you're stressed out and are an internet addict like me but facebook has been annoyingly dull and the people on msn are getting on your nerves and everyone else seems to be on a blogging hiatus and you have ABSOLUTELY nothing to surf online but you still HAVE to go online no matter what... go watch:

this, this, this...

...and some 238912890234 other banned commercials on youtube!

:)

alrighty then! study hard, people!

after 5 days of suffering, the puppy succumbed to the parvovirus infection. what a shame. she was due to have a good life with my family but that wasn't to be. really sad.

i think all dog owners should educate themselves about parvovirus and its seriousness. it is the most common infectious disorder of dogs and the chances of a puppy so young surviving it are really minute. if you are planning to get a puppy, i suggest you read it up so you are able to take necessary precautions and prevention methods to avoid such a devastating event from happening!

rest in peace, Cadie. go look for Coco! hehe.

i think i spoke too soon about my new poodle. she is now at the vet clinic battling parvovirus, which she probably contracted from the pet store. no treatment for this. no antivirals. only antibiotics to prevent secondary infection and an i.v. drip to rehydrate, cos most dogs infected by the virus die of dehydration. prognosis is poor for a puppy so young. she's only 6 weeks old! 50-50 chance. mum is devastated, so am i, having to hear her cry like that. the puppy brought so much joy although only for a week. please pray that it'll recover. please please please. i know that it's just a dog and i haven't even seen it but it means so much to me. coco died exactly 9 weeks ago, we just cannot handle the death of another dog in such a short period of time. i wanted so badly to go back home this weekend to see the pup, but now i don't think i am cos mum doesn't want me to. i feel so horrible. such a small innocent little thing. i just hope she will be fine.
