my one-week easter break is coming to an end. :( barcelona was amazing and the forecast easter-week rain with thunderstorms did not happen! instead we were blessed with beautiful golden sunshine and temperatures way into the 20's. i dare not say the same for madrid - weather was wonderful, but the place and the people were not. but all in all it was a much needed and satisfactory break! and then came back to recaps of the royal wedding which was absolutely gorgeous in my opinion.
post-spain and royal wedding and now it's back to harsh reality and the hard facts of life: a tragedy in the family, a ridiculous audit report which data i can make no sense of, and 2 weeks to the progress test which i honestly don't have the time to revise for. how nice if one can be on holiday forever?
i will blog about the trip another time. but you know what, i've decided that barcelona is now my 2nd favourite city after sydney. :) yes it has bumped paris to 3rd place, but i'm sure it'd be a different story if i had gone to paris with a lot of money in my pocket. :p
